Hutcheson Gallery: Faculty Art Exhibition

Hutcheson Gallery: Faculty Art Exhibition is in the past.

The John C. Hutcheson Gallery presents a Faculty Art Exhibition, Aug. 28 through Oct. 12. An opening reception will be held on Monday, Aug. 28 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Hutcheson Gallery.

This exhibit will feature a mixture of paintings, illustrations, sculptures, graphic design and mixed media from Lipscomb’s full-time faculty, adjunct professors as well as artist-in-residence Michael Shane Neal, an internationally renowned portrait artist, and Tom Bancroft, a former Disney animator.

Located in the James D. Hughes Center at Lipscomb University, the John C. Hutcheson Gallery opened in fall of 2010. Curated by Lipscomb visual arts department faculty, the Hutcheson Gallery features a variety of exhibitions each semester. This gallery provides an opportunity to study, exhibit, stimulate appreciation for and advance knowledge of works of art that collectively represent the broadest spectrum of human achievement and artistic interests.

The Hutcheson Gallery is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., however, hours may vary during scheduled events. The Hutcheson Gallery is best accessible from the Belmont Boulevard entrances to campus.
